A new addition is a workshop on record-keeping. This goes beyond the usual ‘keep receipts for everything’ and covers specific situations for both, income and expenditure. Good records are important for being able to detect fraud, and it keeps your audit bills down. More here.
Our usual Accounting for Grants workshop, always one of our most popular ones, has been split in two for this year, as the amount of material to cover is a bit too much for one session. The first workshop is about your responsibilities when accepting a grant, and what you can and can’t do. The second is more about the nitty-gritty of grant tracking and accounting, and how they affect your financial reports. See here.
